WE’RE ON A MISSION
To empower our foster children in group home settings with improved confidence through new clothing and athletic apparel, and to provide collegiate camps that ultimately promote the development of life skills, athleticism, and character building.
Walk In Their Shoes wants to change the status quo. Currently, shelters for abused children receive almost exclusively used clothing and other secondhand items. We believe that providing children in these shelters with new and on-trend clothes and athletic gear can improve their self-worth and self-confidence. Walk in Their Shoes works with clothing companies and other organizations to create boutiques where those in need can receive new clothes and athletic gear that help them truly look good and feel great.
RECENT WORK
We’ve helped 16 schools so far and we’re just getting started.
Walk in their Shoes has partnered with schools in Amarillo, Border, Crosbyton, New Deal, Ft Worth, Lubbock, Frenship, Cooper, Tahoka, San Antonio, Abernathy, and Levelland with many more on the way. Each school has received new Under Armour track shoes to inspire athleticism and sportsmanship. We have also donated new tracks shoes to the track team at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and have given Under Armour school shoes to their students.
